Ages are always a guideline, not an absolute. You know yourself &/or your child better than we do.  We can only speak to averages. That said, keep in mind your whole group playing and their skill level.

Age 5+ for GellyBall, Video Game Trailer, & Zombie Hunt

Age 6+ for Laser Tag

Age 9-12 for Low Impact Intermediate Paintball (Air powered @ 220fps)

Age 13+ for Traditional Paintball (Air powered @ 260-280fps)

The Game Trailer is air conditioned and is our only service that is not highly physical and performed outdoors, so wear whatever is comfortable.

All other activities are performed outdoors and involve running on uneven surfaces.  Closed toed footwear is important.

For Paintball, it is best to have as much of your skin covered as possible even if only a light layer. Clothing will get dirty, but the paint is environmentally friendly and will wash out of your clothing if you don’t leave it in for days.  We still recommend older clothes you don’t mind getting damaged should you catch it on a limb in the woods, etc. Party packages include protective vests.  For walk-on players, vests are available in rental packages or as an individual add on.

In the unlikely event that you need to cancel or reschedule, the deposit will be transferred to the rescheduled event or to a gift certificate that may be used at any time. The only exception to this is Weather.  See our Weather Interruption Procedure under EVENTS AT OUR PAINTBALL COMPLEX or MOBILE EVENTS AT YOUR LOCATION depending on your event type.

Tips are not required; however, if your Game Coach or Site Manager has done a fantastic job of providing a great experience, please do feel free to show your appreciation with a complimentary tip & a positive review on Facebook.

We have (1) Mid-Size Party field that is typically used for Laser Tag or Gellyball (30 bunkers).

We have 4 rocked parking lots with parking bumpers and the capacity for over 80 vehicles. For evening events, we have parking lot lighting.

Bayou Games understands that weather is beyond any of our control when we are dealing with an outdoor event.  Most of our equipment can run safely in a light rain. We will cease play if lightning is occurring. If we have an interruption due to a quick thunderstorm, we will add time to the end of your party to ensure you receive the full playing time scheduled. We strive to do everything possible to ensure your event can happen when scheduled. If the weather keeps us from performing the event at all (notice given 90 mins before its scheduled time), we will make every effort to reschedule your event.  If this isn’t possible and adequate notice was given, we will refund your deposit if the situation if truly out of our control and no other accommodations can be made.  Historically this has been very rare.  SWLA weather is finicky and sporadic and we have typically been blessed to not have weather impact our events where a refund was necessary.  If you have the Game Trailer, weather should not be an issue.  If we have availability to switch you to Game Trailer, we may be able to do so with adequate notice.

Yes – Arrive during our open play hours (Sat 10-6 & Sun 11-6). We cannot guarantee any other players attendance. To inquire, text us @337-214-5001 or send a FB message with a headcount and approximate arrival time to ensure a faster check-in process. Choose from 1 of 4 rental packages from $35-$65/each (all required gear and paintballs), or you can use your own equipment (inspection required).  If you have your own, you pay a $15 Field Fee which includes unlimited HPA air refills and purchase paint.  We are a FIELD PAINT only facility.  For safety & quality reasons, you are NOT allowed to bring outside paint

Low Impact Intermediate Paintball uses the same smaller projectile but at 80% the speed of traditional paintball.  Even still with this speed reduction & smaller ball, the impact is half the feeling of a traditional paintball. Low Impact Intermediate Paintball is the recommended level for first time players & groups of various skill-levels. Traditional paintball can bruise when being hit at close range or in a non-padded location.  The good news is, it all heals.  Your Eyes are the thing to protect and we provide everyone with a mask.

For all levels of paintball, equipment for 10 players is $269 for 90 mins of play time on various playing fields, followed by 30 minutes of party time in your designated party section.  This includes equipment for 10 players and 200 rounds each.  Additional players are $15 each for the same equipment & paintballs.

Due to the safety risks of being at an unknown location and the volume of equipment involved, mobile paintball is not recommended. Events will only be scheduled in instances where we feel it is a safe environment. Eye protection is critical. Spectators are not allowed without masks. The location of event must be at least half of a football field sized space and away from businesses, roadways homes, etc. We offer Do-It-Yourself equipment rental options.

Our field is set to tournament specifications and we update the layouts regularly depending on upcoming national & regional tournament series.

We have multiple teams that practice at our field that are active in participating in multiple regional tournament series throughout the year. Our teams & individuals that have been dedicated in making regular practice have all received podium metals of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place multiple times within their appropriate competing divisions. You do NOT have to compete on a tournament team in order to be part of practice.  You can simply be part of the practice team.

All players who want to become part of this group must agree to abide by the following philosophy:

Approach to Practice:  It is now standard procedure for us to send this to all perspective practice players to communicate clear expectations.  We have a handful of rosters that play together mix and match. We will all play with whoever, whenever. If teams are getting ready for a specific tournament(s) we usually accommodate them and make every effort to keep them practicing together. We typically have a mix of hardcore and casual players with the same mindset of growing together. Teams in 'practice' are usually balanced based on the veteran players. We have a very open practice policy, unless drama occurs (in which case we will address directly with you and agree upon corrective actions as we will not allow ongoing drama). Otherwise we welcome all. We can include you in the Facebook group chat where practice times are discussed and voted on. The group is primarily focused on coordination of practice and tournaments and when layouts are being updated and is not intended as a general use chat but may be used to communicate group events. If this is acceptable, let me know and we will add you in.

Practices are typically held on Sunday mornings and on Thursday evenings, however this will vary based on player and field availability and is determined weekly within the group chat via a Voting Poll.

Hosting events for business & organizations is the primary focus for our Mobile Services.  Send us an email with the date, location of the event, time frame desired, and which of the service(s) you are looking for and we can provide a calculated quote based on those details.

We service Southwest Louisiana from (but not limited to): Sulphur, Lake Charles, Westlake, Moss Bluff, DeQuincy, Vinton, and Iowa, in addition to Southeast Texas. Contact us for a quote to bring our signature party services to YOUR area! Travel minimums do apply based on distance.

Most common are the Video Game Trailer or Laser Tag.  These are most common because there are no projectiles involved which means it can be setup in a space where spectators can be in the open and nearby.  We can also perform Gellyball in situations where there is enough space to do so safely. Eye protection is required for players AND spectators.

Mobile events are best suited for corporate, church, & school events in conjunction with other activities. Our most popular mobile event is our new Video Game Trailer paired with Laser Tag or Gellyball. If you’re booking a mobile event, the equipment and setups will be much smaller in comparison to an event at our Complex. A mobile setup is 10-14 inflatable bunkers or barriers that can be staked outside or weighted indoors. Additional space is required for booking an event with a 10+ player attendance. At Bayou Games Complex, space is not an issue!

If you booked Laser Tag or Gellyball, and have access to a large enough indoor space, we can accommodate given enough notice. If you have the Game Trailer, weather should not be an issue.  If we have availability to switch you to Game Trailer, we may be able to do so with adequate notice.

All out of area event's duration must be equal to or longer than the travel time. A Deposit is required to secure the date & time. The event must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event.  If less than 2 weeks away, the balance is due in full in order to book. Minimum event charge times apply based on distance traveled even if you do not need that full-time frame.

It is a 33’ Enclosed Trailer with 2 air conditioners, 5 LED TV's on the inside and 2 on the outside each hooked to a separate X-Box One, PS4, PS VR, and/or Nintendo Switch.  Because we are mobile, we are not connected to high speed internet.  Therefore, we focus on games that work offline and are typically designed for 2 to 4 players with only a few single player games in our selection.  Depending on the games selected during your event, you can have up to 28 players, but it is more typical to see half that. Our game coaches are trained to ensure that every player is engaged, playing fairly, and sharing in the fun!

Bayou Games offers a wide variety of games, each rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). These ratings ensure that you can make an informed decision as to what your children are playing and viewing. At the time your party is booked, we will ask if you wish to limit any categories of games being offered, and our Game Coach will stock your requests.  School & Church events typically ask for no games rated M for mature. We do offer games such as Call of Duty, with the profanity filter on (no foul language, excessive blood or gore).

Our gaming theater generates its own power through a generator; no plug is required. It is insulated and contains two A/C and heating units for the comfort of our party guests.

No, because we are enclosed and run on our own generator, weather will not stop your party.  It will however mean the outside stations would stay closed.

With the Game Trailer, you have access to all the games we own.  But Fortnite is not one of those because Fortnite is an online game that requires high speed internet.  Because we are mobile, we do not have the ability to have high speed internet to play games of this type.  We focus on games that are 2 to 4 players and able to work without internet access. The exception to this is if you book the party at our facility where we have commercial grade high speed internet.

The Video Game Trailer is $249 for 90 mins or $299 for 2 hours.  All mobile parties have a minimum of 2 hours due to travel & setup/tear down before and after your event time

Gellyball uses a polymer orb that when water is added it becomes 8mm in size and upon impact shatters and leaves a small water drop. Low impact means less sting and no bruising.

Gellys are a polymer orb that absorbs water to make an 8mm water orb that when shot shatters into very tiny pieces. When dehydrated they become the size of salt. Easy to sweep or vacuum.

Gellyball guns are a lightweight, easy-to-shoot gun powered by a Li-Po battery. They shoot from 300-1,000 gellyball rounds, depending on magazine or hopper type. Gellyball guns accurately shoot to 100 ft and at a rate of 180-220fps.
